History In The Making
In 1984 a young Musician and Producer by the name of Rick Rubin, and a Concert Promoter and Artist Manager named Russell Simmons merged together to jump start Def Jam Records. Rick Rubin’s musical background in Rock/Punk combined with Russell’s Simmons roots in Hip-Hop music blended seamlessly to give birth to a new sound and attitude that would seize the early 1980’s music charts and popular culture. Similarly, over two decades later two flourishing Artists and Producers “3CE and Dop Vigor” have merged from the rubble to assemble the power house production duo “EV0LUT10N”. Signed to MXS Records, the production duo has reinvented a cutting-edge Rock/Rap sound draped in hypnotizing synth melodies, amplified rock guitars, hard hitting drums kits, and explosive lyrical performances.

While branding homage and respect to the true essence of hip-hop and rock music, EV0LUT10N’s music injects a new and bold statement for the ages and contemporary culture.  Recording live instruments: electric, bass, acoustic guitars along with organic keyboard tones and percussion, sets them apart from the crowd of producers and beat makers in the digital industry.

As an independent Artist 3CE developed a massive fan base around the world by generating outstanding digital album sales and downloads through itunes, myspace and other popular internet media.
Dop Vigor has been producing records for over 10 years in the recording industry. Launching his first music venture “HOL-LA Records” in New York in 2001 with 7 Artists signed to the company, his label flourished by distributing popular Indie Artists to major retailers in 12 states across the US.

EV0LUT10N’s self titled CD successfully presents this decade’s ultimate Rock and Rap fusion. While offering an overall mainstream resonance, the album appeals to a range of introspective listeners, true music lovers, rock addicts, hip-hop fanatics, and rap fans young and mature. Monster records like “Vicious Cycle” and “Energy” define the rawness of relational emotions with a grit and sincerity that made bands like Nirvana soar, and albums like Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park unimaginable achievements. Becoming largely successful in the music industry challenges the Artist to remain true to their character while simultaneously selling records and accommodating fans, and friends, along with their family’s and spouses.  Hip-Hop records like “I Can’t Get Out” explain the sentiment that the provoking battle of fame and fortune can sometimes enforce . Other records like “Building Inside of Me” describe the guts and glory of rising to the occasion, and overcoming hardships in life.
